1-800-273-8255 Suicide Hotline – Logic Feat. Alessia Cara and Khalid
National Suicide Prevention Lifeline – 1-800-273-8255
This is a heavy topic to talk about even heavier to create a song about. Logic really took it there and I’m happy he did, Many people wouldn’t make a song as bold as this one that the first chorus opens up with I want to die and on my first listen I felt my heart drop because I didn’t know what to expect and by the end of the song I was really happy that I cried what I think are happy tear because this song is literally my progress in life.
In this video above Logic explains why he created this song. Logic is using his
Suicide is a topic many people would most likely never talk about because its like a taboo subject. Suicide hotlines exist for people that don’t have anyone to talk to or don’t want to talk to friends or relatives because they don’t want to be viewed differently. I’m posting this song because it’s like the song that describes my life and possibly many others that rose from that dark time in their life to where they are now. A song like this is needed to put the conversation on the table, it’s necessary to talk to people about your feelings because keeping it all bottled in only makes the situation get worse trust me on that one.
I hope no one has to come to the point of suicidal thoughts, I know sad times will come regardless but handling them as they come is how you live life in the present to make better for the future. I hope everyone finds their happy place like I did there is always something good waiting for you in the end.
