To me this was a easy question to answer. The anime with the best animation hands down is  Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo. the animation in this anime was literally breath taking. I have never seen an anime with the same animation. Gankutsuou’s had an unusual visual style layers with different textures and patterns into digital animation making the background look like it was 3D. Everything had a following movement. Everything stood out to you in this anime. I loved the visual style they used in this anime. This by far to me is the best animation I have ever seen. I have yet to see a animation using the same style. It is very unique. the story line is very good it follows the actual story a little of Count of Monte Cristo. This story reminds me a lot of the book The Great Gatsby. It had almost a similar story but the count is a vampire.

The Story begins in the 51st Century, in the year 5053. Viscount Albert de Morcerf and Baron Franz d’Epinay met the Count of Monte Cristo for the first time who was a self made nobleman. The Count promised Albert that he would visit him in France and he did. the Count introduced Albert to the most powerful families in France and let him into his world. Albert was interested in learning the backstory of the Count. He begins to spend time with the Count and learned many different things such as space travel, computer systems, robots, and the future in general.

The story is very interesting and the visual graphics will just amaze you. It will be an anime you will never forget. I loved the colors, textures, patterns, and all the visual features of the series. The visual effects have a futuristic feel. It is all around amazing anime series. This anime to me is by far  has the best animation I have seen.
