What’s your worse habit?
Getting to know SDE. Our 2nd Year Anniversary Celebration: Question 4
Lizzo: I have a few bad habits. My pessimistic attitude is one. My pessimism is more of defensive mechanism rather than me having straightforward negative outlook. Then there are times where I wear my optimistic views proudly. I’m a bit strange 50 optimistic and 50 percent pessimistic. But In all honesty, I think the fact that I talk too much is my worse habit. I ramble when I’m happy. I ramble when I’m excited and I ramble when I’m nervous. One of the biggest issues, with people who like to talk, is that there so busy talking that they don’t know how to listen. While I make a point, to listen, It can be overwhelming when someone keeps talking and won’t shut up. I know what it’s like to be on the other side of the coin. So I’m working on it.
Drey: My worst habit has to be what I call Horrible Delivery, I don’t think before I speak and it has caused a lot of issues for me in many situations especially work and my dating life. I’ve always done this so I never thought it was bad until Lizzo and Alice pointed it out a few years back, I’ve tried to curve my mouth or at least water down what I’m going to say so it doesn’t come off harsh or someone takes it wrong. I feel like I censor myself when I’m trying to fix this habit and I try not to censor myself because I want to try and live my best life but I don’t really see this habit going anywhere anytime soon because I have horrible delivery of words.
Alice: I have plenty of bad habits and I really don’t know where to begin. My worst habit I would say is that I procrastinate all the time at work, home, everything. It makes me crazy always waiting for the last-minute to do what I need to do. An example, me writing this post I waited to the last minute to do so.
