Voice Over Talent at Anime NYC 2018: Part 2

Here is part two of Anime NYC 2018 Voice Over Talent Line Up. Crunchyroll seems to be pulling out all the stops to create a memorable experience, So here a taste of what they have to offer.

John Swasey

John began his anime career in 1997 and since then he worked for Funimation, Rooster Teeth, ADV and Illumitoons and many more. He has played characters: Kumatetsu in The Boy and The Beast, Gendo Ikari in Evangelion, Aramaki in Ghost in the Shell and Jinnouchi in Summer Wars, In 2004, John set his sights on directing. His projects include Ushio and Tora and Squid Girl.


Kari Wahlgren

Kari Wahlgren has been in the voice over game for quite a while. Her first role being Haruko Haruhada in FLCL. Other major anime roles include Fuu in Samurai Champloo, Saber in Fate/stay night and Fate/Zero, Celty in Durarara, Kagami in Lucky Star, Anemone in Eureka 7, Robin in Witch Hunter Robin, and Rip Van Winkle in Hellsing.


Max Mittelman

Max is-known as Saitama in One-Punch Man but his resume extends beyond that entertaining audiences in various outlets. Mittelman has made appearances in Your Lie in April, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 , Ben 10, Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans and Thunderbolt,. He’s also voiced roles in the game Tales of Berseria


Ray Chase

The voice of Noctis in Final Fantasy XV. Other roles in video games include Master of Masters from Kingdom Hearts and Eve from NieR: Automata. He’s also made minor appearances in Horizon Zero Dawn, and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Notable work in the world of anime, Yukiatsu in Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, Rubber Soul in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Your Name, Berserk and many more!


Robbie Daymond

Robbie is best known as the voice of Tuxedo Mask in Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon Crystal. He’s also played several leadng roles like Ren Tsuruga in Skip Beat. He’s also voiced characters in Tales of Zestiria, Cyborg 009, God Eater, Lupin the 3rd, and Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals. And in American Animation in a movie called Breadwinners and OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes!.


Tyler Walker

Tyler Walker is an ADR director, line producer, script writer, and voice actor for Funimation Entertainment. Project’s he’s worked on over the years. Baccano!, Basilisk, Black Cat, Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom, Hell Girl and 91 Days. Additionally he’s worked on Fairy Tail, One Piece and Bamboo Blade


Todd Haberkorn

Todd Haberkorn is a The LA-based actor and director known for his role as Natsu Dragneel in Fairy Tail. He’s also played Haruka Nanase in Free!, Ling Yao in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Italy in Hetalia. Other series he has worked one are K, Re:Zero and xxxHolic.


Tia Ballard

Tia Ballard began her career in the industry while still in college. her roles include Zero Two in DARLING in the FRANXXX, Rinko in My Love Story, Marron in Dragon Ball Z and Shao May in Fullmetal Alchemist. Tia has also directed The Royal Tutor, wrote and directed the English adaptation of Kiss Him, Not Me.


Tony Oliver

Tony Oliver is another voice over OG. One of the original cast members of Robotech. Oliver also writes and direct. He currently can be heard in new episodes of Lupin the 3rd in which he is reprising his role. He also plays Minato the 4th Hokage in Naruto. And is currently directing Hunter x Hunter and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.


Vic Mignogna

Vic started his anime career almost 20 years ago as Vega in Street Fighter II. He’s known as Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, Tamaki Suou in Ouran High School Host Club, Zero in Vampire Knight , Dark in D.N.Angel and Kurz in Full Metal Panic. Other roles: Yukito in Air , Luciano in Code Geass, Virgil Walsh in Trinity Blood and Hikaru in Macross. Vic also writes and directors working on equally as popular series.
