Anime Fest @ NYCC 2018 Expectations
This year will be the first year of a new anime convention in New York, the Anime Fest (which is collaborative venture between NYCC and Anime Expo ). In years prior, there was a separate anime convention that was hosted with New York Comic Con but, over the years they fused together and became one convention that enveloped the entire Jacob Javits Center.
This year attendees have the option to purchase tickets to Anime Fest and/or New York Comic Con but the conventions this year will be held in two different locations. I will be attending both conventions, this year and I can not wait to experience what both conventions have to offer.
I hope to see more anime panels and a larger dealers room with only anime stuff. I am a huge anime fan and want to be able to meet some voice actors and sit in their panels. My main interest, this year, is meeting the cast and creators of Cowboy Bebop. I love the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack, movie, and anime. This was one of my favorite shows to watch on Adult Swim. I am excited to learn more about how the show came together and other behind the scenes details.
Anime Fest @ NYCC x Anime Expo Guests
