Anime NYC 2019: Guest Todd Haberkorn
This weekend Todd Haberkorn a well established Voice Actor and Director will be making an apperance all three days doing paid autographs and photo-ops. We all have heard a few charaters Todd has voiced through our years of anime and gaming. Anime NYC also has a few panels where Todd will appear over the weekend, you can check the schedule to plan out your weekend.
Todd has voiced characters on anime series that are currently still on my neverending watchlist. I know so many of the characters and hope I get to see Todd in a panel I’m interested in sitting in. Todd’s resume goes for days, he’s been in the business for 15 years now and still going strong. Doing apperances at cons and adding new charcters under his belt is one of the thing I admire about Todd. The awards don’t come easy, Todd has showcased his talents on screen as well as behind the camera as a director.
Todd’s on screen roles consist of playing Spock in the Star Trek Continues (2013) Webseries. Co-starring with a few notable VA’s in the anime community. The webseries gain awards after it’s release in 2013 it is an 11-episode adventure with the Star Trek crew. Adding a horror movie to his resume back in 2011 Todd starred in Scream of the Banshee as Otto. Even starring in Barney and Friends as Mr. Knickerbocker. Also hosting webcasts for Funimation, Todd has done a few things between voice acting.
A few of the popular characters Todd has voiced over his career are Natsu from Fairy Tail, Marlo Sand from Attack on Titans, Haruka Nanase in Free!, Italy in Hetalia, Death the Kid in Soul Eater, Allen Walker in D.Gray-man, Hikaru Hitachin in Ouran High School Host Club and just to top off Todd got to play a villian on Be Cool, Scooby Doo! Saying “and I would have gotten away with too.” has to be great moment in a VA’s career.
