A few weeks ago, I attended a class on Stop-Motion Animation. Stop Motion animation is a technique used to bring objects to life on screen. Examples of Stop-Motion are claymation, objects and cutout animation.
I can’t express how tired I am of seeing black death on my screens. I can’t seem to escape seeing a video of someone killing a Black Person, it’s even shown on the news on replay every hour. I am a Childish Gambino fan and I have to say this music video was disappointing to watch. I listened to the song before watching the video and I liked the song before the video but now I can’t stand to hear it. If you’re on the internet you will end up watching it because everyone is sharing the video, screenshots, memes and think pieces breaking down every meaning of the video. I wonder if it still okay to mention the triggers this video may contain for some people even though it has well over 72 Million views which means there’s a chance you saw the video already and was introduced to the chaotic scenes of death, massacre, suicide and chaos all while black people dance in the foreground.

A few months back, I published a post titled: Favorite Anime Directors. This list consisted of famed animation directors. As a follow-up, I compiled a list of my Favorite Anime Movies. These films are in no particular order because Top 5 or 10 for anything is too hard to narrow down, I just refuse to do that to myself.
Fabolous has always been one of my favorite rappers since he appeared on my radar in the early 2000’s. His witty and charismatic rhymes provided an entertaining listening experience. And while, this particular post isn’t about his music but how can we really pay proper homage without at least acknowledging the artistry. Fab is also known for his fashion sense. Each fit has its own flair and story to go with it. While I am not the most fashion conscious person, this is exactly why we’re here. To talk about nerdy influenced fashion and why Fab is Hip Hop’s Greatest Cosplayer.
Korean American Rapper Heesun Lee is an artist I’ve followed for a while now. She can rap! Her music has a positive message and puts on a dope performance. Her energy level when on stage is truly something to be seen. I also love the fact that she puts on for the culture. Recently, the New York Native uploaded a spoken word piece titled: Female Rappers Rock. Before you read any further, Stop and check out the video.
