Movie: Central Intelligence
Spoiler: I called Dwayne gorgeous too many times in one post
Another movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. I had to see this beautiful man and all his glory. Alice and I went to the advance screening of this movie on June 8th and it was released on June 17th. Now as a fan of The Rock I have to spend my hard earned money on just about everything he does in entertainment and out. I have seen every movie this man has been in no matter how big or little his role was. Now that it’s off my chest if I happen to rant about how unbelievable this man it’s normal for me and just look at him who wouldn’t fan over him.
Central Intelligence
Movie Synopsis: Calvin Joyner was voted in high school the guy most likely to succeed. 20 years later he’s an accountant. As his high school reunion approaches, he tries to make contact with his old schoolmates. And someone named Bob Stone contacts him. He says that he was known as Robbie Weirdicht in school. Calvin remembers that he was picked on, as a matter of fact after an extremely nasty prank he left school. They agree to meet and Calvin is surprised by how much he has changed. Bob asks Calvin to help him out. He says yes and the next thing he knows some men burst into his home. They’re CIA, the one in charge is looking for Stone, she says he’s a rogue agent. When they can’t find Bob they leave. Later he approaches Calvin telling him, he is not a rogue agent, he’s trying to find a person known as the Black Badger who is planning to sell some information that in the wrong hands can be disastrous. so he needs Calvin’s help to stop him. Calvin’s not sure whom he should believe.
First let’s start with the tagline “Saving the world takes a little Hart and a big Johnson” they have the names meant for a tagline like that.
So let’s cut to the chase I wasn’t aware that Dwayne and Kevin were going to do a interview and Q&A at the theater we went to, I think I was too excited that I was just hyped about the tickets. It was so exciting knowing I was going to see this gorgeous man in person for the second time in my life and of course Kevin Hart too but i’m not that big of a fan of his but his movies are always funny. I was not picture ready when I went but they were! I have a shaky video of their entire interview and how funny they were. You can’t fake the chemistry they have together they seem like genuine bffs. They are funny together and apart it was so much fun just to watch them. They had so much positivity pouring from them it made me really happy that some celebrities will still come to events like this and get intimate with the fans for a while and go on about life that’s really what it takes to keep a fan base to continue to support you.
Central Intelligence was hilarious all the way through I never laughed throughout an entire movie but it as funny from beginning to end and Dwayne and Kevin out did themselves with this one. They we’re a good comedy duo on screen that I would go see another movies with them opening weekend lines and all. Dwayne’s character Bob Stone takes the cake as big as he is playing the clown of the movie made the movie what it is. Kevin Hart playing the serious character was a breathe of fresh air since he’s usually the clown, I can get used to Kevin doing roles like this he’s really talented and to just be stuck playing the clown character in EVERY movie he does is a waste. Now Aaron Paul was in this movie I was shocked when I saw him and I’m not going to speak on his role in the movie but when his scenes came up It was some of the funniest moments in the movie I was literally crying good healthy happy tears at that elevator scene with Dwayne. I really want to know how many takes they had to do with some of these scenes, I would never be able to keep a straight face with most of them. That’s why they get paid to do it.
I really hope people go and watch this movie I didn’t want to give too much away even though I really didn’t. If you plan to go see this movie pee before it starts, we don’t need any accidents happening during this movie. I would suggest as soon as Dwayne and Kevin get in the car at the end of the movie and start to drive away you head to the bathroom and skip that line ladies. Take my advice ain’t no after credit scenes once the car starts pulling off the movie over go and set your bladder free.
I also share you love for Dwayne Johnson, I just love him. His charisma really shines in this movie (I like Kevin Hart quite a bit too, thought they made a great onscreen duo). — Louisa
This movie was really good for them I wouldn’t mind going to seeing another movie with them as a comedy duo again because it would be worth it.
Thank you Louisa for reading
YAY! For Dwayne getting all the love!
