The best for last I chose my favorite and most inspiring character is Sora Naegino from Kaliedo Stage a very inspiring anime. The story focuses on Sora and her trials and tribulations in following her dream to becoming a Kaleido Star. Sora was inspired to become a Kaliedo Star after seeing the production of Alice In Wonderland. Sora’s parents passed away when she was very young and was raised by her aunt and uncle. Sora arrived to America to the try out’s and auditioned to become a Kaliedo Star. Sora along the way to the place encounters Kalos Eldos who felt that their was something special about Sora. Sora while meeting Kalos her bag gets stolen and she does amazing acrobatics to retrieve her bag only to be caught by the police officer Jerry and she told him of her purpose of applying to the audition. Jerry takes Sora to the Kaliedo Stage and encounters Layla Hamilton and she rejects Sora. Sora did not give up and saved a performer during a performance and was allowed to perform and audition again. Vixen

Vixen is one of my favorite DC Superheroines in the DCU, I really love her powers. Being able to embody the strength and abilities of an animal is one of the most underrated powers. Vixen gets her powers from The Tantu Totem, A fox-shaped talisman created by the African trickster god Anansi the spider. Vixen the first African Female DC superhero back in 1978 to get her own comic series but it was sadly canceled before release but even though Vixen never got the chance to shine in her own series until Vixen: Return of the Lion in 2008. Nakia

Continuing the Black Panther trend with Nakia played by Lupita N’yongo. Nakia in the Black Panther movie is the love interest of T’Challa/Black Panther/King of Wakanda, I was extremely excited to see that Nakia was cast as a Dark Skin Black women (you know how Hollywood works) and it felt so good to finally see a positive image of dark skin Black Women for a change that I still can’t contain my joy.
