I finally got the time to watch the anime Darling in the Franxx. This was an interesting anime to watch. It is one of the most talked about anime. It reminded me a lot of Nier: Automata a game I played for the PlayStation 4. The anime series was co-produced by ClockWorks and Trigger and the story was designed by Kentaro Yabuki. The story centralizes a group of children that are used to fight in a war using Mechas. While watching this anime you can not help but ship people together. It is interesting to see the different ways the children explore their relationships and begin to unravel their true existence. It is kind of weird on how they have to use the mecha’s to fight having the girl bend over and the boy holding her love handles to steer. It truly leaves me with no words I leave it to your imagination. But, overall is it is a good action packed anime.
Have you ever been pushed to the edge and turn into someone your not? In the anime Mob Psycho 100 the main character Shigeo Kageyama at first is your average middle school student who they nicknamed him Mob but, he is in fact a very powerful Esper when pushed to the edge. Mob looks like any ordinary person but as his powers peek he becomes something else. Mob’s power over time have increased as he grew older and he is loosing more control.
I decided that I would do an anime poem for National Poetry Month and make it a challenge. Anyone can participate the only terms are you write a poem based upon a anime you have seen and give us some detail of what anime you are writing about. The poem can be written in any format and style. I thought this would be a fun thing to do and I would love to read other people’s anime poems. Anyone can feel free to tag me. My poem I decided to do was based on Future Dairy’s Gasai Yuno and School Days’s Kotonoha Katsura. I decided to write my poem based on the thoughts of a Yandere. I hope you read and enjoy and I would love to read other people’s poems as well so please tag me when you post. Thank you.
The best for last I chose my favorite and most inspiring character is Sora Naegino from Kaliedo Stage a very inspiring anime. The story focuses on Sora and her trials and tribulations in following her dream to becoming a Kaleido Star. Sora was inspired to become a Kaliedo Star after seeing the production of Alice In Wonderland. Sora’s parents passed away when she was very young and was raised by her aunt and uncle. Sora arrived to America to the try out’s and auditioned to become a Kaliedo Star. Sora along the way to the place encounters Kalos Eldos who felt that their was something special about Sora. Sora while meeting Kalos her bag gets stolen and she does amazing acrobatics to retrieve her bag only to be caught by the police officer Jerry and she told him of her purpose of applying to the audition. Jerry takes Sora to the Kaliedo Stage and encounters Layla Hamilton and she rejects Sora. Sora did not give up and saved a performer during a performance and was allowed to perform and audition again. Sora prevails and encounters the Fool the Spirit of the stage who guides her to her dream.
My next person I chose is young but strong. I pick Sophie Hennes from the anime Garo: Vanishing Line. The story centralizes around Sophie Hennes a young teenager in search of her brother who disappeared and was only left with the clue “El Dorado”. Her search for her brother leads her to meet Sword who helps her to find her brother. Sophie learns about Horrors which are like evil spirits that feed off of negative energy and change people to monsters. Sophie assists sword and his other companions in defeating the Horrors while in search of her brother. Continue reading
I saw a preview of this anime at AnimeNYC and I knew that I had to see this anime. If you like Fairy Tail, this is a show to watch. Black Clover is a fun and exciting show to watch. I love Asta and his drive to be the best. You cant help but to root for Asta. There is plenty of action and comedy in the show. Watching Asta and Yuno makes you believe that you can become anything you want to be with hard work. Continue reading
