We’ve made it another year! This year has been one of our best years with all the content we were able to get out and all the adventures we had at every convention we were able to attend thru out the year. Our year was full of fun, hard work and we’re happy to welcome a new year with all of you.
Hey What’s Up,
June was a pretty eventful month for us at SDE. Our trip to AnimeNext was successful. We had tons of fun as a unit and dropped content that spanned over a month. Here a recap of our panels covered during the event. With a brief summary below.
Hey, what’s good everyone? It’s been a little over a month since we attended Anime Next. Between the three of us, we pushed out a ton content via our website and our other Social media outlets. Videos, pictures and other exclusive releases. (via Twitter and Instagram) So if you aren’t following us, do so because you are missing out. The grind was non-stop that weekend. But it’s Story Time.
As some of you may know, our team attended AnimeNext in Atlantic City, New Jersey early this month. One of our favorite events to attend when going to any anime convention is the Masquerade. All the contestant did a phenomenal job and we captured some of out favorites and posted them via our YouTube. I posted the videos below. So check them out and let us know what you think. Also, don’t forget to check out our photography gallery.
Have a great weekend
I was so excited to sit in on this panel and learn about the making of Yuri On Ice. I had no idea how deep the creative process was. There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes. From the tiniest details like the casts clothing to the colors that are used within the background design. There are also several props used in the designing of all the characters clothes and skates. Examples of props that were used are skates, food, and skaters clothing.
This is post is a collaboration between Alice and Myself on the Bad Anime, Bad!! panel at the AnimeNEXT Convention.
It’s been a few years since we’ve seen a Bad Anime, Bad!! panel at AnimeNEXT seeing the panel still thriving after all this time and each year continuing to come with all of the bad anime there is out in the world makes each year funnier. There are several different types of anime series some are good but, some are just bad. The panel we went to showed nothing but, bad animated series that some may have seen growing up that are recommended for children to watch at a young age but in reality children should not see. This year’s theme was Bad Retro Anime. The clips that were shown were from movies from the 1970’s during the disco era.
After long and exciting weekend. Drey and I, got access to the CAPCOM LIVE! concert. This was my first encounter with CAPCOM LIVE!, to be honest, I didn’t know what to expect but as a CAPCOM fan, I was curious. I grew up on Super Fighter. And Resident Evil, is hands down on of my favorite game franchises. Add in Mega Man and Devil May Cry, taking all into account. And I’m a happy camper. Naturally, the music has been with me just as long.
So let’s get right into it.
