We’re back from our long weekend at Liberty City Anime Con in Times Square. It was so much fun this year around that we got to actually go to more events and panels this time. We have a lot to put up this week so look out for our new posts, videos and photos from this past weekend. This year was much better than last and I’m happy to see LCAC stepping up their game this time.
Next year dates are already set for August 17 – 19, 2018. The live concerts this year were just as great as they were the year before, hopefully a new lineup of events so we can get more variety at this con next time around.
Once again we will have new content coming this week and we’ll be sure to let you guys know. Thank You for supporting us and helping us get this far.
Dream Fearlessly, Live Extraordinary
Here’s a few post from last years Liberty City Anime Con:
This weekend August 18th – 20th is Liberty City Anime Con 2017. Third year running as New York City’s largest anime convention located in the heart of NYC Times Square Marriott Hotel. Last year we attended LCAC 2016 for the first time and it did have its ups and downs but it was a really fun experience with meeting new people and the awesome dealers selling their merchandise.
Last year all we really did was attend the concerts because most of the panels we wanted to check out were cancelled or no shows, hopefully with this years full schedule there will be less cancellations. We were fortunate enough to interview Patrick Bartley Jr. from J-MUSIC Ensemble. Hopefully this year we can get a few more interviews and more content since this year should be bigger and better than last.
We have our passes and hope you and your friends got yours if not you can purchase your tickets here. For those who already purchased their tickets remember badge pickup starts at 10AM on Friday and Thursday 5PM – 7PM for those who did early registration. We look forward to meeting some of you that are going to be at Liberty City Anime Con just let us know on our twitter if you want to meet up with us.
Here’s a few post we did about last years Liberty City Anime Con:
This is the longest running anime! I believe will never end. I ‘ve waited many years for this show to end but, it hasn’t. I believe even in my final moments, this anime will somehow continue on and poor Conan will never know what being an adult feels like.
Movie Synopsis: Jonathan Shannon (Ryan Phillippe) gives his 17-year-old daughter Clare (Joey King) an old music box that promises to grant its owner seven wishes. Skeptical at first, Clare becomes seduced by its dark powers when her life starts to radically improve with each wish. Everything seems perfect until she realizes that every wish she makes causes the people who are closest to her to die in violent and elaborate ways.
Life Is Strange is an episodic video game, where the choices you make affect the storyline. The game was developed by Dontnod Entertainment and published by the legendary Square Enix. This game is five episodes long.
Girl Power!! If you’re interested in watching an anime about a girl kicking ass, this is for you. Hinako is a pretty Yankee- no other way to put it. She really does fight like a man, her skills are undeniable. She is like the female Bruce Lee. I admire her strength, determination and willingness to prove that she is strong.
Anime Girls NYC is a blog, I’ve followed closely for about 8 months now. And has shown love, time and time again. On whatever type of content we publish via WordPress site. So I always make sure to show love back.
“We Build Together” is something we at SDE firmly believe. When I reached out to Stephanie, AGN founder. Here’s what she had to say.
