I was able to see Steve Conte at J1-Con but it was not what I expected. Steve Conte is an American musician, music producer, guitarist, songwriter, and the lead singer of his own band: Steve Conte NYC. I was hoping to see a concert and here some of his music but, it turned out to be a Q & A panel. It was a very intimate setting and I was able to learn a lot about him and his career. LCAC 2017: J-MUSIC Ensemble Performance

The J-MUSIC Ensemble is an 8 piece band consisting of drums, keyboard, bass, guitar and a horn section with two trumpets, a trombone, and saxophone. Best described through their slogan: Jazz meets J-Pop. Which essentially, is what they do. Think-polished Jazz musicians, tackling Japanese Popular Music with the horns taking the fore front, at times standing in as substitution for the human voice. Though at times, the human voice is still included because there is nothing quite like it. Overall, bringing a new perspective to the world of Japanese Music.

Audio Nerds: Tips n Tricks with NWP

My journey as to becoming an audio professional started around 6 or 7 years ago.  For the last five years, I’ve actually been able to produce professional quality content.  And even though, I’ve come such as long way,  I am still learning. Aside from using sites like Gear Sluts and Pure Mix as resources, I enjoy watching video tutorials from other professionals.  One of my favorite channels to watch being Nerds With Passports.
