On Sunday the last day of Anime NYC, I was able to catch the panel and get some insight from women in the professional gaming field. These ladies turned their love for gaming into a career, I’m extremely proud of them for being able to make a living off of a hobby they’re passionate about. You can work your day job while building your dream at the same time, just remember there are sacrifices to be made. I understood that because this is what I’m personally doing with SDE. This weekend is Anime NYC 2018, the second year of Anime NYC and it’s going to be jammed packed with so many amazing guests. Many of the guests are from Japan and that’s what I really like about AnimeNYC, no other convention has a guest list full of the very people who worked on the original projects for the shows we love. Last year AnimeNEXT was so much fun that we’re excited about this weekend. If we haven’t said it already this weekend if AnimeNext and you should get tickets and a room for the weekend. AnimeNEXT is definitely a con to be visited in the tristate area because there is always so much to do and so many new people to meet, there’s never a dull moment going to a con that has so much to offer.
This past weekend we visited Castle Point Anime Convention for the first time in years and they have really come a long way from being on a college campus to an expo center. We posted what we had on out Instagram and other social media accounts so check it out. In a week we’ll be at AnimeNEXT and we’re super excited it was so much fun last year so we have high expectations for this year. I believe the most exciting thing about this con is all the events happening and all the elbow room that The Atlantic City Convention Center offers is what other cons dream of!
As Black History Month comes to an end we start to roll into March which is Women’s History Month we decided to do a challenge. Over the 31 days of March each day we will post a woman who has influenced us in some way or another, This woman will be from an Anime, Comic, TV Show, Movie, Personal Life and more. For the month of March, we will celebrate women in all their glory.
We’ve made it another year! This year has been one of our best years with all the content we were able to get out and all the adventures we had at every convention we were able to attend thru out the year. Our year was full of fun, hard work and we’re happy to welcome a new year with all of you.
Soulcial Dreamin’ Entertainment attended New York City Comic Convention in New York at the Jacob K. Javits Center. This year the convention site was much smaller than usual and it usually entails the entire center but due to it being under repair so space was cut short. Anyone who wished to attend this year had to purchase individual day passes which can be expensive if you planned to go all four days. They were not selling weekend passes this year so the convention activities were extended to other sites, Madison Square Garden, Hammerstein Ballroom, Hudson Mercantile, and the New York Public Library.
Amnesia アムネシア (Amuneshia) is a story centralized on a heroine who has amnesia and her journey to find her lost memories. With the help of several possible love interests and her spirit guide Orion, the heroine slowly recovers parts of her memories. The main character finds herself in a different situation every time a crisis occurs in an alternate universe with a different love interest. Each encounter is different depending on her love interest and her interactions with the other male characters. This anime is based on a otome (visual novel) game of the same name.
We want to wish you all a Happy New Year! We can’t even put into words how much your support means to us and how we have really pushed through the horror of 2016 together. We really want to thank all you from the bottom of our hearts for keeping us going on this vision we have, seeing people take interest in what we do makes us keep fighting to make this dream of our come true. My Favorite Reverse Harem I have read so far is Alice in the Country of Hearts.
I love reading manga and the one that stood out the most to me is AliceintheCountryofHearts by Quin Rose. This manga is my all time favorite. Quin Rose is a mad genous. It is the best reverse harem I ever read. I usually don’t spend money on manga but this was worth every penny. I loved this series because, Quin Rose gives you a view of the storyline in different ways. The audience gets to view how the main character Alice is in a relationship with different characters. Quin Rose shows you different dimensions of Alice and her choice of relationship. She shows you a different version of Alice in Wonderland you never seen before. The storyline is very unique not many manga’s show you different views of: what if, she/he was with him/her?
