Scum’s Wish クズの本懐 is an anime series by Lerche Studios based on a manga by the same name created by Mengo Yokoyari. SW follows student Hanabi Yasuraoka. She’s  in love with her childhood friend now turned teacher, Narumi Kanai. Unbeknownst to him, Hana learns that he is in love with the new music teacher Akane Minagawa.  In comes Mugi Awaya another student in a similar predicament.  So they make a pact to satisfy each others loneliness by being each others sexual replacements for the love that they yern for.

When she came across Aladdin and Alibaba Saluja they both freed Morgiana allowing her to follow her own path which was to return to her homeland. My day 9 nomination goes to Michiko Malandro of Michiko & Hatchin.  Michiko is not by any means a tradition pick. If anything, she’s the polar opposite of what most would like to highlight.  She’s a criminal with a serious rap sheet. Violent. Foul-mouthed. My first pick for this Women in Media Challenge is Lucrezia Noin of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.  Noin was one of first  characters in animation I felt I could relate too.  She was young, intelligent and well-respected.  And even though she was a girl she could run with the boys and in more cases than not outdue them.  At the time this was somewhat rare, especially for a supporting cast member who we rarely see.
