Anime NYC Presents: Sailor Moon Day

Anime NYC is just around the corner.   Alice, Drey and I will all be attending.  Anime NYC, This is the first year of this Crunchyroll sponsored event. I’ve been looking forward to it since I purchased my ticket a little over a month ago. I really excited see what else they have for the Big Apple, My City.

I am proud to announce, On Saturday, November 18th the entire day will be dedicated to Sailor Scouts.

3 Anime Character Challenge (Tag)

The three character tag challenge has been floating around the internet for a while now. And as usual, I am late to the party but don’t fret my friends. In the words of Korean American singer Jay Park, I got this.  All jokes aside, I was inspired to take a crack at it after reading Aria Cross’ own attempt. That was back in June, and I am just now getting around to it.

Revisiting: Suzuka 涼風

Suzuka 涼風 is a anime directed by Hiroshi Fukutomi based on a manga series of the same name by Seo Kouji. Suzuka follows protagonist Yamato Akitsuki who moves from Hiroshima to Toyko for a new start.  And his housemate turned love interest Suzuka Asahina a rising track and field star, who specializes in the high jump.

J-MUSIC Ensemble: Liberty City Ani. Con

The J-MUSIC Ensemble is an 8 piece band consisting of drums, keyboard, bass, guitar and a horn section with two trumpets, a trombone, and saxophone. Best described through their slogan: Jazz meets J-Pop. Which essentially, is what they do. Think-polished Jazz musicians, tackling Japanese Popular Music with the horns taking the fore front, at times standing in as substitution for the human voice. Though at times, the human voice is still included because there is nothing quite like it. Overall, bringing a new perspective to the world of Japanese Music.

Overview of Liberty City Anime Convention 2017

Soulcial Dreamin’ Entertainment was invited to attend Liberty City Anime Convention in New York at the Marriott Marquis hotel.  The hosting space was so much bigger this year compared to last. They even extended it to another site, the Edison Ballroom, where the main events (Masquerade)  and the concerts were held. At night they hosted anime dance parties headed by Rabbit Revolution. This year the convention had plenty of panels, video games, voice actors, concerts and anime screenings. We were able to get an insider’s view of the convention while having a great time.

Case Closed: The Boy That Will Never Grow Up

This is the longest running anime! I believe will never end. I ‘ve waited many years for this show to end but, it hasn’t. I believe even in my final moments, this anime will somehow continue on and poor Conan will never know what being an adult feels like.
