I’ve been getting back into reading comics. With so many diverse stories and character coming out, there no better time then now to do so. In honor of Black History Month, here are four comics by Black creatives that are worth checking out.
It’s Black History Month, There are some pretty interesting things popping off in the nerd community. One of my favorite highlights is, the 28 Days of Black Cosplay, which is celebration created by Chaka Cumberbatch-Tinsley five years ago. And since then, the number of participants have grown tremendously.
Another thing I find myself talking about often is my love for cosplay. I am a firm believer, that cosplay is for everyone. We as a community should celebrate that because we have that in common. So in conjunction with the 12 Days of Anime I would like to take the time to share some of my favorites up and coming Cos-Stars.
What’s up, here is my day 10 entry for the 12 Days of Anime. The topic for this video is about content creation. How I decide whether or not to create and publish certain content via our creative channels. Continue reading
Music is something that I love without fault. There aren’t many things that bring me the same amount of joy and because of that, I find myself writing about it often. For my seventh installment in the 12 days of Anime, here is the list of my favorite Anime covers bands. Continue reading
I attended my first anime convention back in 2007 with my younger cousin and Drey. Since then I’ve attended, two cons per year for the past 11 years up until last year when the number increased quite rapidly in our pursuit to build SDE. Over the years, I watched the convention circuit change in many ways and for those of you who are apprehensive about attending your first con (for whatever reason).
Here is why I think you should attend your first anime convention.
Beauty Pop is one of my favorite manga to reread each year because I can never get tired of this story. I wasn’t a really big fan of shoujo manga but Beauty Pop definitely changed that for me. I love a good shoujo manga with a strong female character that doesn’t just fall head over heels over the first guy that talks to her. These storylines are quite hard to find but I have a few on my bookcase.
As an avid or casual anime fan you have probably come across an anime episode or special on your journey. While there are tons of random episodes there aren\’t many movies. For my third installment of the 12 Days of Anime, I\’ll be listing five animated movies that suite the occasion.
What’s good, here is my second submission for the 12 Days of Anime. The topic for today is Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop Live Action. I spoke on my thoughts and expectation for the up and coming project. Continue reading
To kick off the 12 Days of Anime I decided to go with something slightly different. I create a list of my favorite music videos from 2018. Many have an anime esque vibe and others are just visually stimulating.
Here is my list of visual vibes.
