One of the most important iconic people of our time passed away Monday. Stanley Martin Lieber otherwise, known as Stan Lee. He is known by all comic book lovers as the father of Marvel Studios. A life filled with more than enough fame and hero worship by all those fans that followed the legendary writer and artist; December 28, 1922 – November 12, 2018. This man is known throughout the comic world, even more throughout the planet itself as a man of equality, diversity, and love of all. Stan Lee was a comic book writer, publisher, chairman, director, and editor. He leads a small publishing company and helped turn it into a large multimedia company, the same company we all know today as the infamous Marvel Studios. It is sad to see him go but he will never be forgotten with all the work he has achieved over the many years.
While I sat in the Dante Buford panel, I met Matthew Bordenave who is a Storyboard artist and up next was his panel. He was very funny and had a great stage presence. I really got to enjoy this panel and had a lot of fun. I was interested in learning about storyboarding because it is part of what makes an animation, this is one of the many jobs that brings an animation to life. With everyone’s hard work, everything comes together into the animation we see. I originally sat in this panel because I was curious about what the panel would be about, I was able to learn a lot about the behind-the-scenes in developing an animation. Continue reading

I got the opportunity to sit down and talk to him, here is what he had to say. Continue reading
The Marvel Universe date as far back as the 1939. And over the years, many of our favorite character stories have been expounded on.,reiterate and also revamped. With that being said., my next nomination goes to Riri Williams, a.k.a Iron Heart.
You’ve probably noticed this by now but I have a huge Marvel bias. Drey more of a DC girl and Alice has more of anime bias. So because of this, I tried really hard to balance out my choices but to be honest. I don’t think I really did.
But today nomination goes out to America Chavez a.k.a Miss America. The first Latin American from the LGBT community to headline her own Comic. Continue reading
The one and only Danai Gurira play as Okoye in Black Panther, This will be about Okoye as much as possible because of the love I have for the character before the movie. Danai’s performance was so amazing bringing Okoye to life that at this point I don’t think I’ll ever become tired of seeing her beautiful face everywhere. Continue reading
We’ve been blessed again with another gift and that is The Black Panther Album. The album had high anticipation since it was announced that Kendrick Lamar was producing it with Anthony Tiffith. I have to say this album really did meet expectations after listening to it a few times. With the growing momentum around the Black Panther movie, I’m pretty sure there is going to be negative reactions towards this album because of the artists on the album but overall it turned out better than I expected it to. The album has great replay value and introduced me to a few new artists I’ve never heard before. Continue reading
