Crunchyroll has used their industry connections to the fullest. Anime NYC is only in its second year and its list of guests is stacked. As a person who is fascinated with sound, this is something that has caught my interest. There an even a point in my life where I wanted to pursue voice over as a career. These folks have my utmost love and respect.

Sailor Jupiter from the hit anime series Sailor Moon is probably one of my earliest girl crushes since Sailor Moon was one of the first shows I watched that introduced me to anime. Makoto Kino (Lita Kina in the English adaption) is her name and she’s my favorite sailor scout. I liked Makoto first because she was the green scout and green is my favorite color then as I watched the show and saw what powers she inherited as a Sailor Scout, I liked her even more since she was the “muscle” one of the group. Makoto powers are Electrokinesis, Phytokinesis, Expert martial artist, Superhuman strength, speed, and agility.
Anime NYC is just around the corner. Alice, Drey and I will all be attending. Anime NYC, This is the first year of this Crunchyroll sponsored event. I’ve been looking forward to it since I purchased my ticket a little over a month ago. I really excited see what else they have for the Big Apple, My City.
I am proud to announce, On Saturday, November 18th the entire day will be dedicated to Sailor Scouts.
After a long day of running around, Drey and I took a small break in the Manga library. Like the idiot I am, I started reading volume one Uzumakiうずまき by Junji Ito. Homie is twisted but that’s a topic for another day. The library closes, now my mind fuckery level is at an all-time high. I was so confused. That confusion only heightened.
