Soulcial Sunday: LCAC 2018!

This weekend in NYC Liberty City Anime Convention will be taking place in Times Square and it will be jammed packed with tourists, new yorkers, and my personal favorite cosplayers. As we set into the weekend this week we have posts lined up for our press coverage of LCAC. The team has been preparing and working hard deciding on what to cover and the heat and possible thunderstorms happening this weekend. LCAC will be held in the Marriott Marquis Times Square same hotel as last year and I’m going to assume the main events will be held in the Edison Ballroom as last year since everything worked out perfectly space wise.

Music Spotlight: Jay Park – Ask Bout Me Ep

Cover
Jay Park EP Ask Bout Me

This is Jay Park’s long-awaited Roc Nation Debut EP and I have to say it’s better than I thought it would be. I’m actually surprised I like every song on this EP which isn’t something that happens often enough with albums I listen to. Music Spotlight: Janelle Monae

The song of the day is Miss Janelle Monáe herself featuring Jidenna. I’ve been addicted to this song for weeks now it’s an upbeat song and it’s fun to dance to.

It’s a different side to Janelle than we’re usually seeing and i love it she’s always been about self expression and now she showing us a side she wants to express and she’s getting some backlash for doing so from HER fans. The people that supported her through the years and get mad when she wants to do something different.

Anyway enjoy the song and remember to support the artist that you love Jidenna has a lot of potential ad so does the whole Wondaland gang.
