Anime NYC was lit. I had a fantastic time. Was able to link up with Stephanie of Anime Girls NYC. Shout out to her. Thank you for being such a cool person. Saw some really nice cosplay. Attended some really cool panels and best of all, I was able to enjoy this all with my team.
One of the highlights of my weekend was attending the Nerds on Hip Hop: Bridging Anime & Hip-Hop Panel.
What is Tephlon Funk! Exactly?
A comic book series by Stephane Metayer which follows a young girl from Queensbridge Houses, Inez Joselyn, as her life is turned upside down. Along the way, Inez encounters an interesting cast of characters from throughout the Five Boroughs of New York City. Stylistically speaking, Tephlon is heavily influenced by anime and Hip Hop Culture; respectively.
