On Sunday the last day of Anime NYC, I was able to catch the panel and get some insight from women in the professional gaming field. These ladies turned their love for gaming into a career, I’m extremely proud of them for being able to make a living off of a hobby they’re passionate about. You can work your day job while building your dream at the same time, just remember there are sacrifices to be made. I understood that because this is what I’m personally doing with SDE. Last year AnimeNEXT was so much fun that we’re excited about this weekend. If we haven’t said it already this weekend if AnimeNext and you should get tickets and a room for the weekend. AnimeNEXT is definitely a con to be visited in the tristate area because there is always so much to do and so many new people to meet, there’s never a dull moment going to a con that has so much to offer.
Soulcial Dreamin’ Entertainment attended New York City Comic Convention in New York at the Jacob K. Javits Center. This year the convention site was much smaller than usual and it usually entails the entire center but due to it being under repair so space was cut short. Anyone who wished to attend this year had to purchase individual day passes which can be expensive if you planned to go all four days. They were not selling weekend passes this year so the convention activities were extended to other sites, Madison Square Garden, Hammerstein Ballroom, Hudson Mercantile, and the New York Public Library.
I got my Samsung Galaxy S8 back in April after it was released and I did the big switch from Sprint to T-Mobile to get this phone. After using the phone for the past 6 months I got some things to get off my chest and let Samsung know how I feel about this phone. As a Samsung Fangirl I really expected more from Samsung as much as they hyped up this phone before the launch. I do love my phone regardless of what I dislike I did pay for this bad boy so it holds a special place in my heart since phone companies make you pay the retail price of the phone so all $900 of this phone made me love it like no other. I’ve been a MARVEL VS. CAPCOM fan ever since I played MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2. I loved this game so much that I bought a second copy for my Xbox 360. And I played it all the time. I didn’t even hop right on part 3 when it came out. I waited for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 to drop before I transitioned over. And boy, did I love that game. I suck at fighting games, video games in general but I would play it for hours on end. When I heard about MARVEL VS. CAPCOM: INFINITE, I was excited.
The Nintendo Switch is the most anticipated game console of 2017, after a short video released back in October. This sneak peek got a lot of us excited about this new console. I might just skip getting the Nintendo 3DS and just go over to the Switch and call it a day. The Nintendo Switch goes on sale March 3, 2017 which is a skip away as fast as this year is already going by with a starting price $299.99.
