Anime NYC 2018: A Guide to Professional Gaming from the Women’s Perspective Panel

Anime NYC Logo

On Sunday the last day of Anime NYC, I was able to catch the panel and get some insight from women in the professional gaming field. These ladies turned their love for gaming into a career, I’m extremely proud of them for being able to make a living off of a hobby they’re passionate about. You can work your day job while building your dream at the same time, just remember there are sacrifices to be made. I understood that because this is what I’m personally doing with SDE. AnimeNYC

This weekend is Anime NYC 2018, the second year of Anime NYC and it’s going to be jammed packed with so many amazing guests. Many of the guests are from Japan and that’s what I really like about AnimeNYC, no other convention has a guest list full of the very people who worked on the original projects for the shows we love. Music Spotlight: Janelle Monae

The song of the day is Miss Janelle Monáe herself featuring Jidenna. I’ve been addicted to this song for weeks now it’s an upbeat song and it’s fun to dance to.

It’s a different side to Janelle than we’re usually seeing and i love it she’s always been about self expression and now she showing us a side she wants to express and she’s getting some backlash for doing so from HER fans. The people that supported her through the years and get mad when she wants to do something different.

Anyway enjoy the song and remember to support the artist that you love Jidenna has a lot of potential ad so does the whole Wondaland gang.
