Treadwater Issue #1 – Biohazard
This graphic novel has made it’s way into my reading list I actually wanted to meet Chad L. Coleman for the book signing in Forbidden Planet a couple of weeks back but I didn’t make it in time but when I did go to Forbidden Planet there we’re signed copies of the graphic novel so I was excited to purchase it. Now the only reason I decided to grab a copy of Treadwater was because Chad was apart of it. I’m waiting for Chad’s character Mr. Osi to appear so we can see which side he’s on.Aside from that I really enjoyed reading this I’m a big Post-Apocalyptic fan this graphic novel was action packed from beginning to end and the characters are very interesting and i’m looking forward to issue #2 to come out so I can learn more about them.
The story takes place 15 years from now deep into a global economic meltdown we start in the European community and how countries on in the continent have to fend for themselves from each other Germany has most of our attention because of General Kirklau and his greed for more power. General Kirklau is our villain and he’s a good one he goes all out to protect his son so he can become the next leader of the world, and has his brother-in-law Wolfgang his right hand man but his brother-in-law is a secret assassin and a traitor. I’m not going to go too deep in when you can support the creators and buy a copy this story seems like it will get interesting as the issues keep coming.
Well reading it will bring more insight to the characters but I’m looking forward to seeing if Kiyoshi gets to kick some ass his back story interest me to learn more about him. Also Wolfgang is a interesting character as well and I look to seeing what he will do.
Treadwater has a interactive experience on their website also the first 24 pages of the graphic novel is on the website but back to the interactive experience, they bought each character to life and you can become apart of treadwater by signing up and doing various missions.
